Bistable Debouncer

Hi.. my circuit has a pin out which is connected to membrane switches, so the output of this pin is prone to bounce.. and i need a intermediate circuit which take this pin as an input, and have toggling output. inother words, this input pin will trigger the intermediate circuit. for example, button is pressed, then the pin will bounce, the first instance of the bounce will trigger the intermediate circuit, and give low output, then , after the button is released, the pin will bounce again, and the output of the intermediate circuit will go high..
i'm thinking to use a 555 timer and a JK flipflop set to toggle mode.. is there any simpler implementation, and requires less chips and power?? thanks
