DC TIME SWITCH

I NEED A SWITCH THAT CAN BE TURNED ON WITH A MOMENTARY SWITCH & STAY ON FOR APPROX 10 MINUTES THEN TURN ITSELF OFF. THE SUPPLY WILL BE 12 VOLTS DC

DC Time Switch

Instead of the 555 I would look at the Cmos 4536 or 4541 counter/divider timer ics. I do believe there is a Velleman kit (upto 60 minutes) available from ESR Components (www.esr.co.uk)which uses one of these ics which may meet your needs.
