digital 12 hour timer

im working on designing a circuit that requires a digital on/off timer. I have few resources for designing it myself but if anyone can help it would be appreciated. I want to keep it as simple as i can. All it needs to do is count a 12 hour period and turn on, then on the next 12 hour count turn off. I'm hoping to find the needed information for this and a 12volt output AC/DC powersupply. Both are needed to complete my design.
