zener diodes

is it possible to connect zener diodes without soldering them to the circuit?

Temporary connection of components

I would possibly used vero, test point or wire wrap pins (longest) to temporary connect the zener in the circuit in question, possibly by single 2/3 amp block terminals (bit clumsy).
