Is it possible to add the actual sound ie recorded sound of a tractor to my model please? Richard |

IssuesT about Adding Sound Using Same PSU. |
There are possible issues regarding the addition of sound when using the same PSU as the motors in the model in question: Unpleasant mains/rectifier hum and suppression of the models motors. The mains hum can be reduced by the addition of 100nf-470nf capacitors across the rectifier connections(mains/battery transistor radios have them). I would also power any sound pcb via a regulated supply to reduce noise. Motor suppression usually involves the simple connection of a 100nf-220nf capacitor across the motors terminals(for dc motors). |
